According to the book ‘Defence of the UK: Middlesbrough Vol.3
The above unit established the Gun Operations Room in late 1939/early 1940 in the Drill Hall on Stockton Road, M’bro. The personnel were housed in ‘Hilda House’ on Linthorpe road, facing Albert park.
The HQ of the 7th Division was in ‘Low Gosforth House’, Newcastle upon Tyne 1939 – 1943. We have more info about the unit in the book in the Reference Library.
