I was at this event all the way through, I was 12 years of age and attended with my brothers who worked for Andrassy Brothers of Wakefield who put up the massive tent which at the time was the largest ridge tent in Eorope. We were videod by Tyne Tees TV with my brother and two of his mates driving a 4 foot steel spike into the ground with sledge hammers. What a time to be alive.
