I worked at Dorman Long Central Research laboratory from Sept. 1965 to Dec. 1969 and remember this incident well. Couldn’t understand how the wagon got between the structural girders of the bridge to end up in the Tees next to Billingham Beck. The laboratory can be seen in the background above the bow of “Lackenby”.
