I remember being a patient in here on my 9th birthday (1957). Had a corrective eye operation resulting in me having to wear spectacles. I also remember standing at one of the upstairs windows waving my Mum goodbye across the road after visiting.
I remember being a patient in here in 1961 a little girl aged 5 years old to have my tonsils removed .I cried for my mam and was tied up in a cot and told to shut up . I never told my mother because you never did in those days .
