No-one got in touch. Are you a Turley? They are in my family tree too!
I’ve been in contact with someone called Vanessa ( in Middlesbrough ) …. unrelated but has apparently been in touch with someone at the German church …. they said most of the records were destroyed in WW2 … M’Bro was a big bombing target.

Hi Chris. I see,your question was 2 years ago. The evangelical church was in 188 borough road. The pastor couple had the office in the avenue, but after they relocated to Cuxhaven there was a new minister in the church owned building in the avenue. My privat pension documents and all other church related documents have disappeared when the new preacher died and the building on the avenue was sold by the congregation about 4 years ago. All documents have now disappeared
