My Dad was the Toolpusher on the rig at the time, they were told to ride out the storm by the office, my Dad called the Helicopter Pilot at his Hotel and the situation, regards to the Pilot that few to the Ocean Prince and made several flights to the rig during the evacuation and evacuated everyone safely off the rig, that was a ODECO rig and transferred to the Ocean Digger in Australia
