This photo is of people enjoying a day out in Albert Park, taken at a unknown date. Three people are seen fishing, while the other two people were sailing in the boat. A flock of geese is also seen swimming together in the lake.

I remember spending a lot of time playing in Albert Park with friends as kids in the 1950`s. The guy who was in charge of the boat hire, who was based in a small hut near to the rear entrance end of the lake, had a distinctive voice when he used to shout over the tannoy ” Get off that bleeping island “. Us unruly kids clambering onto the islands in the lake from the boats must have been a right pain ! Still happy days though.
